Jude's Miracle

If you were to look at Jude today, you would never know that he went through a MAJOR surgery (heart transplant) 30 days ago. He’s been a trooper through it all! I have so many emotions today as my boy is healthy, thriving and is back to his old crazy, silly self in just one short month.

Meanwhile, another family has gone 30 days without their child. I’m sure they are experiencing heartbreak, devastation, loneliness and many other emotions. I hope one day they will be able to meet Jude, hear their child’s heart and know that he/she is still living on and saved my sons life. I am so grateful and thankful for their selflessness when they chose organ donation in their darkest hour.

I urge everyone to become an organ donor, as you never know how many lives you can save. If it weren’t for our donor family, Jude may not be here today. Sorry for the long post - I’m just feeling very thankful and blessed as we go into the Easter weekend. The Lord has blessed us tremendously and has been with us every step of the way.
