THE RYLAN FUND
Initiated by Rylan's parents, Stephanie and Jonar Delmundo, the Rylan Fund pays tribute to Rylan Delmundo — our organization's first heart angel who lost her battle to Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) in November of 2016. This grant is intended to provide financial assistance to patients with CHD and their families who are currently, or had been, undergoing care in the Cardiac ICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital. We are honored to bring you this memorial fund in partnership with her parents in order to help other families who are faced with the challenges of CHD.
THE REASON
The Delmundos were thrown into a whirlwind of expenses and financial constraints when they discovered the severity of their daughter's diagnosis. Fortunately, they had family and friends from near and far uplift them and come to their aid. Knowing just how fortunate they are, they understand not everyone has this type of support. That's why in their daughter's name and to be representative all of the angels taken too soon, the Rylan Fund's mission is to help other families facing the financial hardships of CHD, showing them they are not alone.
FUNDING
The Rylan Fund is primarily dependent on generous donations from supporters who have hearts of gold and who believe in the mission and desire to rally behind our local community of heart families. Stay tuned for details for our next fundraising event.
